adidas Honors Dads with Special Edition Father’s Day Cleats

adidas Baseball today unveiled the limited edition adizero Afterburner Father’s Day cleat to honor and celebrate dads across the globe.

Inspired by the “dad jeans” fashion statement, the special edition Father’s Day cleat is dipped in soft, baby blue and highlighted with denim striping details. Brown jean stitching accents the light blue SPRINTSKIN upper, while Nubuck details on the tongue and pulltab complete the look.

The 2017 adizero Afterburner, the lightest cleat in the game, is engineered with a seamless SPRINTSKIN upper with zoned support. A reinforced abrasion toecap enables lateral movements and sprints between the bases. Sculpted to be aerodynamic and wrap around the foot to provide a sock-like feel, the new TECHFIT breathable, compression bootie allows for flexibility and movement through the ankle.
