Harden Blasts Off in the Third, Rockets Eliminate Wolves

James Harden had another huge scoring burst, scoring 15 of the Houston Rockets’ 30 points in the third quarter to put the Rockets up for good, eliminating the Minnesota Timberwolves 122-104 in Game 5 of the first-round series.

Clint Capela has been a monster all series and continued it Wednesday with 26 points and 15 rebounds. Harden did his part with 24 points, 12 assists, and 5 rebounds.

Karl-Anthony Towns led the Timberwolves with 23 points and 14 rebounds, while Jamal Crawford added 20 points off the bench.

Houston will await the winner of the Utah-Oklahoma City series. The Utah Jazz currently lead the series 3-2.
