This film will be the fourth in the franchise as well as a prequel to the series. Luc Besson (<em>Taken<\/em>, <em>Leon: The Professional<\/em>)\u00a0is behind\u00a0the script and acts as a\u00a0producer of the film. Ed Skrein (<em>Game of Thrones<\/em>, <em>Tiger House<\/em>) has replaced Jason Statham (<em>Furious 7<\/em>, <em>Spy<\/em>) as the lead character, Frank Martin.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Transporter: Refueled<\/em> follows Martin, a former special ops mercenary, now living life as independent agent who transports packages for questionable people.<\/p>\n<p>Martin takes a job involving a femme fatale and her three sidekicks, but the\u00a0gig takes a turn for the worse when Martin receives a phone call from his father. His father has been kidnapped by the femme fatale\u2019s associates to ensure Martin helps them complete a big bank heist.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Transporter: Refueled<\/em> also stars Ray Stevenson (<em>Thor<\/em>, <em>The Other Guys<\/em>), Anatole Taubman (<em>Quantum of Solace<\/em>, <em>She\u2019s Funny That Way<\/em>), and Loan Chabanol (<em>Fading Gigolo<\/em>, <em>Third Person<\/em>). <em>The Transporter: Refueled<\/em> is rated PG-13\u00a0and will be released on September 4, 2015, just in time for Labor Day weekend.<\/p>\n<p>[youtube]https:\/\/youtu.be\/LnkwhfEyerM[\/youtube]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Transporter: Refueled is guaranteed to be relentless, shamelessly predictable action at its finest and most entertaining.
