Besides the Thanksgiving dinner with Lorelai&#8217;s parents, they visit Lane and her mom, Sooki and Jackson, and Luke&#8217;s Diner. They spend a little time bonding with each of their friends at each visit. They also run into their friend Kirk.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Food<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When Lorelai and Rory realize they&#8217;ve agreed to attend four different dinners, Rory thinks it might be too much food. Lorelai insists that it&#8217;s not too much for them, saying, &#8220;It&#8217;s not too much food. This is what we&#8217;ve been training for our whole lives. This is our destiny, this is our finest hour.&#8221; Rory suggests they consider not eating the night before. Lorelai quickly says, &#8220;Not necessary.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Lorelai picks up chocolate turkeys to bring to everyone as gifts.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Kim serves tofurkey at her dinner.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson deep-fries his turkey. Then he and his friends start deep-frying all the food they can find.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the episode, Lorelai and Rory realize that they didn&#8217;t eat dinner at Lorelai&#8217;s parents because of a fight they had, so they didn&#8217;t have to skip rolls at each dinner in order to get through the night.
