They suspect it could be Krampus or the Anti-Santa. The texts say the Anti-Santa walks with a limp and smells like candy. Dean and Sam spot a man dressed like Santa who fits this description and become suspicious.<\/p>\n<p>After looking into it more, they discover the actual culprits are pagan gods making annual ritual sacrifices. Dean is shocked when Sam tells him how much of Christmas is based in pagan rituals and asserts that Christmas is Jesus&#8217; birthday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Convenience Store Gift Shopping<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dean and Sam buy gifts for each other last minute at a gas station. Dean gets Sam some porn magazines and shaving cream, while Sam gives Dean a protein bar and gas tank.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit Cake<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An unsuspecting neighbor interrupts the pagan gods&#8217; sacrifice to give them fruit cakes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dreaming of a White Christmas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Early in the episode, Dean and Sam notice the lack of snow. The texts point to this being a sign of the presence of pagan gods.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christmas Decorations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dean fondly remembers a hilarious wreath he once saw made of beer cans and suggests they look around for something else like that. Sam doesn&#8217;t like the idea of decorating for Christmas.
