BMF Debut: Reebok Classic x Sandro Insta Pump Fury

Those who remember 1990s sportswear and footwear may remember the Reebok Insta Pump Fury, a extravagantly minimal and forward design in running. It changed the profile of Reebok’s direction, for the better, and now is being honored with another release as the Reebok Classic x Sandro Insta Pump Fury, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Drawing inspiration and design cues from two of the most influential decades —the 70’s and 90’s— the Reebok Classic x Sandro collaboration captures the best of both decades with the timeless silhouette of the Insta Pump Fury.

For the ladies, the spirt of 70’s era clubbing inspired a Black/Major Purple colorway. The White/Wicked color way has a sporty feel, with an edge of femininity and luxury.

The men’s collection draws inspiration from the 90’s, capitalizing on the retro-futurism and technical advances that revolutionized the sneaker world when the Insta Pump Fury’s was first introduced.

Pairs will be available for $175.00 from mid February 2015 in a selection of Sandro Stores worldwide, Reebok.com and at Colette, Selfridges London, Wood Wood, Solebox, and Extra Butter NYC. The sneakers will launch on Reebok.com starting Friday, February 13th.
