BMF Diamond Debut: adidas adizero Afterburner 2 “Trophy Pack”

Adidas’ adizero technology has long been used in the basketball, running, and soccer channels, but baseball has now seen its day come for lightweight strength product to be in the three stripes mix — welcome the adidas adizero Afterburner 2.

Grouped in the “Trophy Pack”, it features team colors that celebrate the very best squads in NCAA baseball.

adidas today unveiled the adizero Afterburner 2 – the lightest cleat in baseball – in a special College World Series-inspired “Trophy Pack.” 

The collection will debut on field during the College World Series Super Regionals and features team colors highlighted by metallic gold accents, mirroring the NCAA trophy. 

At only 8.7 ounces, the adizero Afterburner 2 features a new Sprintframe plate and for the first time adidas’ adizero franchise includes a full-length Litestrike EVA midsole, making this the lightest and most comfortable adizero to date.
