Dan The Curator x adidas Ultra Boost x Air Yeezy 2 captures Kanye West’s past, present
Footwear artist/customizer/cobbler Dan The Curator (nee Dan Dover, or @DanTheCurator on Instagram) has been one of the biggest well-known secrets of the last two years. Having taken on some of the most ambitious projects seen in sneaker customization, DTC has become well-known by corners of the sneaker community for his creativity and imagination in re-imagining classic silhouettes and pop culture themes. Now, he has taken on the task of combining the high points of the Nike Air Yeezy 2 and the ever-popular, Kanye West-vetted adidas Ultra Boost (a well-covered shoe in these parts) in his latest greatest project in the Dan The Curator x adidas Ultra Boost x Air Yeezy 2.

This custom was inspired by one of the most iconic Nikes of all time, the Air Yeezy 2, as well as the culprit of the major paradigm shift in running footwear, a.k.a. the adidas Ultra BOOST. The shoe possesses a glow in the dark BOOST midsole, golden Air Yeezy 2-style lace tips, a half-uncaged design and the ‘Solar’ colorway of the Air Yeezy 2.
