Sergio Tacchini Honors its Tennis Roots with Unisex STLA Collection Crafted in LA

Posted on

One of the best heritage brands for track suit lovers has returned with a luxurious drop: STLA. Sergio Tacchini’s latest unisex collection gets back to the brand’s tennis roots with premium fabrics, new graphics, and delicate embroidery that is crafted in Los Angeles.

The 2019 STLA collection includes classic styles like the Ghibli tracktop, polo shirts, fleece sweatshirts, and two-piece tracksuits. The Ghibli tracktop, an essential part of the brand’s history, is usually produced in sporty poly cotton material. However, for STLA the brand rebuilt the silhouette — originally designed for tennis legend John McEnroe in the ’80s — in silk and kept the original features and design that made it iconic.

Best of all, Sergio Tacchini’s STLA Signature Track Jacket ($340) is back complete with contrast ecru piping across the shoulders, contrast embroidery at the chest, and the Italia patch at the sleeve. Of course, the matching STLA Signature Track Pant ($295) echoes the jacket with ecru piping and premium craftsmanship.

Sold direct to consumers in limited numbers, the Sergio Tacchini STLA unisex collection is available now at www.SergioTacchini.us. Prices range from $225 to $570 USD.
