Noah Baumbach, Oscar-nominated writer/director of The Squid and the Whale, has a film coming up that touches upon the battle of getting older. Baumbach’s film, While We’re Young, follows a middle-aged couple that runs into a younger couple that changes the way they live. Typical layout for a story? Yes, but considering the talent involved, it just might be something special.
The film stars Ben Stiller, Naomi Watts, Adam Driver, and Amanda Seyfried. From the trailer, it seems as though this film will be genuinely funny and sincere in it’s portrayal of the married life. What happens when a married couple realizes that their lives have become routine and safe? There’s nothing worse than living a safe life. It looks like it will be a touching film that will invigorate adults for at least a couple days after the credits roll.
The film comes out on March 27, 2015.
