Iggy Azalea Fancies Herself the Host of MTV ‘House of Style’ Series

Last week, MTV announced that not only is House of Style coming back, but that your songstress of the summer, Iggy Azalea, is going to be the host of the revamped show. The series premieres August 4.

It’s interesting to note is that the show will air primarily on MTV’s website and not on the cable channel itself. However, there will a TV component to the series since it will also tie-in with the VMAs on August 26, with a HoS special prior to the awards show, wherein “Iggy will help us navigate the style highlights from the show.” Anchors aweigh, captain! The announcement also noted that during the series run, Iggy will be “taking viewers from L.A.’s best vintage stores with Jeremy Scott to music video sets.” Sorry, Tokyo, maybe she’ll get to you next time!

PS: Did you know there’s a House of Style documentary? I certainly did not! And during the time of supermodel mania I lived for this show! Check out the trailer here. Of course, this doc is only 23 minutes long (hello, short-attention-span viewing public), but I’ll take it over having NO nostalgic look back at the show.

You can watch the whole film here at MTV.com
