Airs en plein air: New York Philharmonic Parks Concerts Return

[dropcap]S[/dropcap]ummertime, and the living is easy. And it couldn’t be easier for you to go out and catch some free music in the next week, as The New York Philharmonic returns to city parks in the five boroughs with its Concerts in the Parks series.

Featuring works by Strauss (Don Juan), Tchaikovsky (Romeo and Juliet Overture-Fantasy), among others, and an appearance by violinist Joshua Bell on the 14th and 15th, each concert will conclude with a dazzling fireworks show.

Tuesday, July 15, 2014, 8:00 p.m.
Van Cortlandt Park, Bronx
