On Episode 3 of Cross/Over, Drew sits down with writer/philosopher Andrew Martin — who was credentialed for the recent Denver Comic Con — to talk about the event, comics vs. sci-fi, and the current state of “nerd” culture. Does such a term even still apply in a world where superhero movies rule the box office?
We also look at our most anticipated comic/fantasy adaptations coming in the near future (Batman vs. Superman, Star Wars 7) and discuss the merits of recent adaptations including Daredevil, Star Trek, The Avengers, X-Men, and of course Marvel vs. DC.
