Hello, Los Angeles Lakers fans. Take heed and know that Dwight Howard is on the court and working the post during his rehabilitation to get back on an NBA court during the regular season. A couple of weeks ago, it was announced that Howard would miss the start of training camp and at least the start of preseason games. However, D12 isn’t sleeping! He’s doing work, including the shimmy shimmy shot Hakeem Olajuwon style! Check the video below:
A couple of years ago, Howard went to Olajuwon and learned post moves from one of the greatest under the basket. In the video, it looks like D12 is going at half-speed, which is smart, but seeing him at any speed on the court has to be encouraging to Lakers Nation. The next great Lakers big man looks ready to go and help Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol win another title, as well as get Steve Nash and himself at least one ring.
In any case, I’m sure Lakers fans around the world will start to scream in their friends’ faces that D12 is back! However, any expectations at this point should be tempered regarding Howard’s return on the floor. Wait a minute, we’re talking about the Lakers… great expectations goes with the territory.
