Indiana pacers forward Paul George was a force last year, but with Danny Granger injured for the majority of the 2012-13 season, it created the perfect situation for him to blossom into a star. After fully being unleashed, “PG” put up monster numbers to the tune of 17.4 points, 2.2 threes, 7.6 boards, 4.1 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.6 blocks per game. After a year of being “the man” in Indy, it’s clear now who the new leader of Pacers is.

“I think I can play at an MVP level. I think that’s very much within reach,” George said Tuesday. “For me, it’s all about being consistent and having that aggressive mindset.”

It looks as though he might have his sights set on a more prestigious award.
