Most fans that follow NBA superstar and Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant know that he’s a native of the DMV — representing the (Washington) D.C., Maryland, and Virginia tri-territory area. A Seat Pleasant, Maryland native, Durant is showing his patriotic side with his new Nike KD VI ‘Light Crimson’ shoes (which look very similar to MLB’s Washington Nationals uniforms).

Augmented with a Hyperfuse upper, traditional Flywire, Zoom Air, and Max Air, the new KD VI is more than just easy on the eyes — it’s easy on the feet as well.

The latest KD VI colorway features a vibrant Light Crimson upper with Obsidian highlights and a Light Beige midsole. The multi-color laces and stars on the KD logo on the heel are nice subtle details.
