Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol suffered a sprained ankle in Friday’s game against the Miami Heat, according to Bleacher Report’s Ethan J. Skolnick on Twitter:
Marc Gasol (sprained ankle) won’t return. So Heat can load up on Randolph.

Gasol scored 14 points and pulled down six rebounds in 24 minutes of action before coming out of the game for good.
It’s still unknown just how severe the injury is, but there’s no doubt that David Joerger and the Grizzlies will be hoping for a speedy recovery and quick return to the court for Gasol. After all, Memphis is right in the mix in the Western Conference playoff race and can ill afford to lose games down the stretch. Bleacher Report
Although the Heat won 91-86, Ethan Skolnick also mentioned how much trouble the Heat were having with the Grizzlies even once Gasol was out:
A lot of shrugged shoulders from Heat. This one is getting away.

Wade: “The Memphis Grizzlies are a very, very good team. We just had to find a way.”

Damn, couldn’t we at least get a playoff series in before this happened? Now they might drop from the seventh seed or, heaven forbid, the playoffs entirely.
Excuse this Grizzlies fan while he goes to be upset.
