32in30: Wounded Veterans and Boston Marathon bomb survivors honored by Boston Celtics

April marked the beginning of Operation Warrior Wishes and Fanrag.com’s Mission: Battlefields to Ballfields.

The non-profit initiative also know as 32in30, is traveling cross-country honoring 100 veterans at 32 sporting events in 30 days.

To date, the program has honored veterans at sporting events in Houston (Rockets), Oklahoma City (Thunder), New York (Mets/Yankees), Washington D.C. (Wizards), Baltimore (Orioles), Philadelphia (76ers/Phillies), Cleveland (Indians) and Detroit (Tigers)

Last week, the program stopped in Boston to attend a Celtics game.

The wounded warriors and their families were recognized and honored by the Celtics along with several Boston Marathon bomb survivors.  32in30 is halfway complete with their mission. They’ll be travelling west for their grand finale.
