Weekend Rewind: Need to catch another look at the top weekend releases in basketball footwear or just catching up in general? BMF’s Weekend Rewind gives you a brief recap in the best performance and lifestyle sneakers to drop, ranging from Nike to Jordan to adidas and more.
The Air Jordan 2 Retro has been an interesting remake of the original model. Outside of its original retro release from 1994, the subsequent retro releases have been somewhat disappointing, from quality issues with leather to uninspiring colorways, the Air Jordan 2 Retro has been somewhat lackluster. However, in the Air Jordan 2 Retro ‘Dark Concord’, it’s revitalized.
The Dark Concord version uses white as a prominent color to balance against the title hue, which actually makes the concord purple more attractive (in BMF Kicks & Sportswear’s humble opinion). The elephant print in the quarter paneling adds a nice touch and Dark Concord splatter on the black midsole is adds dimension, giving the shoe a new attitude.

Blending different elements from beloved Air Jordan models, the Air Jordan 2 Retro ‘Dark Concord’ takes Elephant print from the Air Jordan 3, Dark Concord from the Air Jordan 11 and a subtle splatter print from the Air Jordan 4.
