The Nike KD VI ‘Light Lucid Green’ reminds a bit of an earlier version of Kevin Durant’s ‘Bamboo’-themed shoe from late in 2013. It’s a great shoe, highlighting the sharp bolts on the lateral sole, as well as accenting the Max Air heel unit. What’s most attractive about the shoe is the shiny finish on the black synthetic upper, giving the appearance of full-grain leather (just like the good ol’ days of pre-Hyperdunk Nike Basketball) – it makes the longing for leather shoes that much more stronger, and the embedded Flywire adds great texture.

The latest color way of the KD VI is inspired by night vision, with a sleek black upper highlighted with Light Lucid Green and Atomic Mango details. Releasing on May 24 on Nike.com (8am EDT/5am PDT).
