Recently, the A.E.B.L. was invited to participate in the South Beach Invitational. This national tourney was hosted by the EBC Rucker Park and sponsored by BACARDI.
The likes of Pusha T, Jadakiss, and more sat on the sidelines in Miami’s South Beach to watch “Team ATL” (aka AEBL). Other squads included Miami, Los Angeles, and New York City. They played for $25,000 grand prize.
After successfully defeating Miami, 2 Chainz’ AEBL squad, led by Shannon Brown, Spencer Dixon, Cam Tatum, Markeith Cummings, Jermearo Davidson, Josh Sparks, Brandon Armstrong, Chris Cromartie, and Waylo Jones took on French Montana’s NYC squad in the championship.
Former Los Angeles Laker and current New York Knick Shannon Brown stepped up to help lead Team ATL to victory. With key support from three-point marksman Spencer Dixon, Atlanta was able to battle back from a 10-point deficit to secure the $25,000 grand prize.
