Black patent leather on the toe box shines like his energetic play on the hardwood and his smooth, relaxed demeanor off it. Gold aglets highlight his championed legacy. Challenge Red hues on the translucent sole and Flywire provides contrasting accents on the shoe’s monochromatic base. Completing the design, a woven heel pull-tab, displaying James’ signature and lion crest also bears the message, “Protect me from myself”—a reminder that the only person that can prevent your greatness stares back at you in the mirror.
