Opinion: Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Tech Grey’ is Sobering

So, the Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Ore-‘, my bad, ‘Tech Grey’ is coming at us. One of the most anticipated pairs of shoes to drop, since the sneakerheads got to know about its release, and the euphoria has stayed. Everyone is going quite H.A.M. about getting a pair of these, but me. Sure, the design is clean and the black tumbled leather suits the shoe well, and as a fan, scratch that, STAN of black shoes, I should go crazy, but somehow I’m kind of sober. I’m even more than that, I’m almost indifferent. I can’t explain why and I’m sure that my opinion is as always unpopular but, I can’t help it.

The Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Tech Grey’ is now a lifestyle sneaker. To show this distinction, the back panel, which is usually in a harder TPU material, comes in leather on this pair. A nice detail which I appreciate. But all in all, it’s unfortunate that they don’t translate as well I thought they would. At least to me.
