It’s not just players that can go off the deep end at times.

There have been mixed reports for months surrounding whether or not Adrian Peterson will return to Minnesota.

Family members, including Peterson’s father, have stated that he is open to returning to the team, whereas sources have stated that Peterson felt “ambushed” for being placed on the Commissioners exempt list. There is also been speculation that the Vikings would be unable to maintain a comfortable cap number at Peterson’s current salary of $12.75 million.

One person who is not mincing words in Peterson’s agent, Ben Dogra, who got into a verbal confrontation with Vikings officials at the NFL rookie combine in Indianapolis stating that Peterson will never play for the Vikings again.

Money has a habit of doing most of the taking in these situations, and I have a feeling that if the Vikings are willing to allow the $12.75 million to sit on their books, Peterson is staying in Minnesota for the foreseeable future.
