LeBron James notched his 4,207th career assist in a Cleveland Cavaliers uniform in a 127–94 crushing of the Dallas Mavericks.

With that King James becomes the owner of the most assists in the Cavaliers franchise history. The records continue to fall like dominoes for James as he’s climbed past both Allen Iverson and Ray Allen to sit in 21st on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.

I don’t know that’s more impressive about this most recent record, the fact that he’s done it while taking a four-year vacation down in Miami, or the fact that he’s a forward?

I’m going to lean toward the forward aspect of the matter, minus Magic Johnson, I have never seen a player be able to do as many things so well.

James can, and has, played all five positions on the court, and were he to play any of those positions full-time he would still be among the top ten players in the league.

Fun sidenote: James achieved all this without wearing his signature headband last night.
