‘I like EVERY SINGLE THING!’ on the Air Jordan 7 Retro ‘Barcelona Days’

Very quick opinion statement to start: I’m all about this colorway of the Air Jordan 7 Retro ‘Barcelona Days’. The two grey tones, the mix of suede and smooth leather, the colors used on the details, I like EVERY SINGLE THING!

So, wolf grey is one of my favorite colors used on suede material and obviously on shoes. The combination of wolf grey suede and dark grey is even better. I love how the shoe is plain, but not really. The accents in orange and turquoise are perfect. The colors used are slightly pale, and not neon, which tones up the simplicity and understatement of the grey-on-grey upper, but doesn’t keep away the manliness of the silhouette. In my opinion, the Air Jordan 7 silhouette is quite manly, which doesn’t mean that women can’t wear them, but I feel like they have to be combined with good outfits. I mean, some pearl earrings, a Louis V handbag and a Burberry scarf are not meant to be matched with this Air Jordan 7. Please don’t do it. Or if you do it, leave away the Burberry scarf and the pearl earrings.

So, the Air Jordan 7 Retro “Barcelona Days”, a colorway that can be worn during summer and winter time. That shoe that could be worn by everyone, if combined right. That low-key heat that looks plain and simple, but isn’t. Bravo, Jordan Brand designer John Doe. (Ed.’s note: John Doe is Tinker Hatfield, but the color designer, well…we don’t know who that is.)
