This edition of the #LEBRON12, what we know now as the Nike LeBron 12 EXT RC (short for Rubber City), is an homage to Akron, Ohio’s heritage as in the rubber and auto industries, and this is a glorious model, taking a subtle color palette and making it pop with the intricate, little details.
The combination of rubber, micro-suede, and mesh give this model so many different textures and light just seems to shine and hide, depending on how you view the shoe and where you view it. While it’s intended to be something of a hardcore fashion accessory, the LeBron 12 EXT RC is clearly equipped for play on the hardwood, and don’t be surprised if you see it being worn on the court by LBJ himself.
