As the BMF Sports Network has long reported and opined, the adidas BOOST cushioning system is one of the best things to happen to athletic footwear. The first BOOST shoe, the adidas Energy Boost actually had a successful debut, but it was just the beginning in the way that it was harnessed — the adidas Supernova Sequence 8 now has focused a way to make BOOST more efficient in the way that it absorbs and returns energy to runners like you.

adidas releases the Supernova Sequence 8. Using the innovative adidas STABLEFRAME, Supernova Sequence delivers the ultimate stability for a secure, smooth transition through the run gait while helping to manage over-pronation. BOOST foam cushioning provides the highest Energy Return in the running industry to combine for a dynamic, stable running experience. The TORSION SYSTEM acts as an additional support through suspension to simulate the natural rotational forces between the heel and the forefoot, while your midfoot remains flexible and stable.

The Supernova Sequence features a sleek, slimming upper design highlighted by an athletic mesh forefoot that offers the right combination of breathability and secure fit to adapt to your foot shape. The heel, and in some models also the midfoot, features a high visibility reflective material to command attention while you’re logging miles at night. A high-performance Continental Rubber™ outsole provides superior traction at the critical toe-off phase. The premium rubber grips the ground for ultimate control in all conditions.
