Continuing in the tribute of packs to the U.S. military, the adidas Football Dark Ops Collection continues on with its ‘Navy SEAL Pack’, which takes direct color inspiration from the uniforms and wetsuits of the SEALs (and this may be the most handsome pack of the entire collection).
With the canvas and suede on the uppers of the featured cleats, the textures and richness of hues pop and also add durability based on the materials.

Paying tribute to the U.S. military, adidas Football today unveiled the third pack in the new Dark Ops Collection, inspired by the footwear and accessories worn by the elite forces of the U.S. military. Built for speed and performance, the Dark Ops Collection of cleats features the 2016 adizero 5-Star 5.0 x KEVLAR® and Freak x KEVLAR®. Taking design inspiration from the U.S. Navy SEALs, the third pack in the Dark Ops collection incorporates the black colorways of the Sea, Air and Land Teams’ uniforms and wetsuits.
The 2016 adizero 5-Star 5.0

The lightweight Dark Ops 2016 adizero 5-Star 5.0 upper is constructed from a durable, flexible canvas – similar to military accessories and footwear. Embroidered stripes pay tribute to the insignia found on elite forces uniforms, and stitching reinforced with KEVLAR® provides durability and strength. The 5-STAR FRAME, featuring a plate reinforced with KEVLAR®, is the optimum blend of lightweight, strength and traction.
