adidas Baseball today unveiled the new “Dipped” cleat collection – the first triple-color (outsole, midsole, upper) baseball cleats. Built for speed and designed to make a splash, the new “Dipped” collection introduces the 2017 adizero Afterburner 3, the lightest cleat in the game at 9.3 oz.

Inspired by sneaker trends around the world, the “Dipped” collection brings monochromatic color blocking to the diamond for baseball’s fastest athletes. Featuring 15 unique colors, players can choose from Power Red, Solar Red, Maroon, Purple, Dark Green, Semi Solar Green, Shock Slime, Clear Aqua, Onyx, White, Black, Collegiate Gold, Collegiate Orange, Collegiate Royal and Collegiate Navy.

Engineered for the game’s fastest 5-tool players, the adizero Afterburner 3 “Dipped” collection features a lightweight anodized Sprintskin upper and sits atop a full-length LITESTRIKE EVA midsole for increased cushioning and comfort. The collection features electroplated plates with PROTRAX cleat configuration to provide dynamic acceleration and traction.
