Basketball State of Mind hosts, DV and Z talk briefly about the NBA Summer League results, as well as the Las Vegas MVP, the top rookie contenders for the NBA Rookie of the Year award, the current dynamic duos trends and the top pairs, and the effect of social media!

Segment 1 and 2: The Memphis Grizzlies took the chip, and Brandon Clarke took home MVP. But, how will his performance translate to the regular season? DV and Z give some context. Who should everyone watch for in regards to taking home the hardware for ROY? And, did DV and Z actually agree on whom they think will win? It’s probably not the player you think.

Segment 3: The latest trend in the NBA relative to building a winner is the dynamic duo route. Who are some of the better pairs and which ones have the better supporting cast to make an impact?

Segment 4: For their old school/young buck segment, DV and Z take a look at social media and its effect on both the game on the court and the culture off of it.
