St. Andrews Golf Club, the Royal and Ancient, referred to by many as the birthplace of golf, has voted and will now accept female members. This marks a change in the policy of the club that has stood for 260 years. Now all the club has to do is figure out a way to get the “No Girls Allowed” stone carving removed from beside the front door.
