Listen Up: New Album from Spoon, ‘They Want My Soul’

Britt Daniel and the boys of Spoon are back after a three-year hiatus with an excellent new album, They Want My Soul. During that time Daniel teamed up with Dan Boeckner (of Wold Parade) and Sam Brown (New Bomb Turks) to form the indie rock band the Divine Fits, but now he’s back with the band and they’ve already hit the road in support of the new album.

Listen to the first two singles, “Do You,” and “Rent I Pay” here, and then immediately get out of your seat and go buy the whole darn thing. This album will not disappoint!

The album came out on Tuesday and is now available for purchase and digital download. Check out the band’s website, spoontheband, for more information, including news about their current tour in support of the new album.
