With the Christmas spirit in tact this time of the year, the football gods have really blessed us during Week 16 of the NFL season. After the Thursday night game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans was supposed to be a stinker, somebody put an air freshener in EverBank Field and made the game actually watchable. Hopefully those gods can bless my prop bets and win everybody money, as a little extra money this time of the year goes a long way.

Odell Beckham Jr, Total Receiving Yards, Over/Under 99.5 (Over: -125)

This guy is an absolute stud and has racked up four touchdowns, and 273 receiving yards in the past two weeks alone. Those numbers are solid for a four or five game stretch, but in these last two games, he’s been killing it. The St Louis Rams defense is very good, but Beckham’s athleticism will guide him to another 100-yard game. After Beckham Jr. missed the first few games of the season, he is trying to make up for it with monster performances in the last weeks of the year

Will the Cleveland Browns get a first down on their first offensive series? (No- +170)

The Browns have only gone three-and-out to start their first offensive series three times this season. However, with Johnny Manziel at quarterback, the Browns are 1-0 on not getting a first down on their first offensive series. After having so much prop bet success invested in Manziel last week, his slow start will continue this week against the Carolina Panthers.

Will Ryan Lindley throw a touchdown pass? (No: +120)

Reason number one on why you should never bet on Ryan Lindely is this smile. Winning quarterbacks in the NFL do not look that, they look like this. It also doesn’t help that he has seven interceptions, two fumbles and zero touchdowns in 7 career games. Oh, and one more thing. He’s also going up against the Seattle Seahawks who are the best defense in the league… May god have mercy on the Arizona Cardinals soul.

Buffalo Bills vs. Oakland Raiders: Race to 10 Points (Raiders: +350)

The Oakland Raiders are 2-12 this season, but are 2-5 at home and have won two of their last four games. The Raiders may still be a 6.5-point underdog this week against the Bills, but with some recent success at home they have a chance to make things interesting. The Bills need this win desperately, but who knows how to choke better than the Bills? I’m not expecting Oakland to win this game outright, but expect them to give Buffalo some trouble early by scoring 10-points first and keeping things fascinating.
