LeBron James Challenged to Do Slam Dunk Contest

The good people at have put LeBron James to task! For years now, many NBA fans have been craving for The King to participate in the Sprite Slam Dunk competition, an NBA All-Star event that has lost its proverbial flavor for quite some time now. So much so, the NBA changed its format last year to be more of a team competition that had stars such as John Wall, Paul George, and Damian Lillard as part of the action, but even their star power didn’t raise the level of anticipation and excitement as the NBA likely hoped for. This brings us to what hopes to be the solution…

Challenge LeBron James, with money on the line to be donated to The Boys and Girls Clubs of America (an organization close to LeBron’s heart and a place where he made the [in]famous Decision) with the prerequisite that they only get paid when James throws down hard and vicious during the slam dunk competition. As mentions in the below video, raise up the star power like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant did. We agree and admittedly take pleasure in knowing that this is essentially extortion, however cute. Ha!
