Derek Jeter and Peyton Manning both appeared on stage at Saturday Night Live’s 40th Anniversary special. Both Jeter and Manning hosted the show at one point, and both received mixed reviews for their acting chops. Peyton mentioned having mixed feelings about hitting an eight-year-old with a football during his episode.
See, Manning, this is why you only have one ring; you’re too soft. Jeter had no mixed feelings about injuring audience members during his original monologue. He did do a solid job considering he lacks personality in front of the media at all times. Jeter’s “Taco Hole” sketch was one of the better performances of his SNL experience.
