Larry Sanders was an on-the-cusp star for the Milwaukee Bucks, really coming into his own the past few seasons. However, seemingly out of nowhere, he quit basketball. Here he was, a professional athlete that recently signed a big extension for millions and millions of dollars, and he just left the hardwood without a desire to return. In the video above, he explains his motives and it shows once again that athletes, people that society places such a high value on (and also want to tear apart) almost making them demi-gods, are human beings. More importantly, it should be noted that Sanders doesn’t even need to explain himself at all. Good luck to the big guy in his creative endeavors and finally finding peace of mind.
