New York Giant wide-out Odell Beckham Jr. had a helluva rookie season. One of the many stand-outs from last year’s rookie wide-receiver class, Beckham became a Sportscenter favorite thanks to his numerous highlight plays and his now infamous one-handed touchdown grab.

Starting off this season, bigger things are expected for Beckham Jr. and the New York Giants. If this recent announcement is any indication, then expect Odell to become one of the new faces of the league.

It was announced Wednesday that Beckham would be the cover boy for EA Madden 16.

He beat out New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski in the final vote. Gronkowski and Beckham emerged from a field of four that included Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown.

We all know what happened to a few other Madden 16 cover boys. Lets hope that the Madden cover curse jumps over Beckham like how he jumps over defenders. Congratulations
