We’re starting on a lighter note today because the Team USA universe could certainly use it. The Americans on Tuesday finally won an exhibition game, snapping their stunning, two-game losing streak to beat the Argentinians, 108-80. Beal and Kevin Durant enjoyed their best games so far with 17 points apiece. Damian Lillard added 13 points and four assists, and Bam Adebayo also turned in his best performance so far with 12 points, five boards and a team-high five assists.

Across the board, Team USA flipped all the categories where it struggled in losses to Nigeria and Australia. The Americans were the better rebounding team (40 to 34), shot 13-of-29 from 3-point (to the Argentinians’ 9-of-29) and owned the paint (40 points to 28).
