The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Carmine’ is a nice shoe. It properly pays homage to the Air Jordan 6 Retro ‘Carmine’ and still blocks color consistently with how the usual original Air Jordan has been blocked. The ice blue sole gives a bit of flash and is like crack for the hypebeasts, but that too is consistent with the actual AJ VI design. In all, it’s a shoe that doesn’t take away from the classic design of the Nike Air Jordan I and actually is intriguing to think about if you can imagine Michael Jordan himself wearing this as a 21-year-old rookie.
