Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul Reunite for ‘Barely Legal Pawn’

When History Channel’s Pawn Stars debuted in 2009 (and was subsequently knocked off by Hardcore Pawn), it opened the gates for a flood of pawn/porn puns for hypothetical, like-minded shows: Asian Pawn, Backdoor Pawn, MILF Pawn. But nothing could top Barely Legal Pawn. And who better to deliver Barely Legal Pawn than bros-for-life Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston?

In the sketch, the pair are back at it again, only this time they’re hawking junk and doing dip, not hawking meth and doing dirt. Julia Louis-Dreyfuss plays herself (bringing the on-screen Emmy total to a whopping 10 between the three actors), attempting to sell an Emmy to help fund her accidental purchase of an island. Hilarity, as you can imagine, ensues.

Will Julia get a fair price? What’s barely legal about their pawn shop? Can Aaron Paul last the six minutes without saying “bitch”?

The skit was produced by the Television Academy to help build excite for Monday night’s Emmys. And dammit, it worked.
