With the New Jersey Devils so far out of a playoffs they couldn’t get cell reception that would allow them to find a playoff spot on a smartphone, the team is looking into shipping assets. There has been talk about what the trade value of 42-year-old (43 on Feb 15th) forward Jaromir Jagr would be. Jagr still shows good movement, has amazing hockey IQ and rarely needs help putting in his dentures. The consensus seems to be a mid level draft pick is fair compensation, that or paying for the cleaning services to get the “old man smell” out of Jagr’s locker once he’s gone.
