Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has not been fan of media. Lynch made himself an enigma off the field due to his treatment of reporters and his lack of care for the media overall.
After a while, even Marshawn Lynch has to make a comment about what many call, “the worst play in Super Bowl history.”
Lynch, alongside Carolina Panthers’ RB DeAngelo Williams, and Cleveland Browns’ TE Gary Barnidge were in Turkey recently to take part in American Football Without Barriers camp, which promotes the growth of American football around the world.
While in Turkey, Lynch actually spoke to the media. Maybe it’s something about international journalists, but Lynch decided to open up candidly in front of the camera.
One of the many questions he spoke about during the interview was the play heard round the world. Wanting to know what Marshawn was thinking when he heard the play call, Lynch surprisingly gives an honest answer.
Lynch begins by saying that he was OK with the call. He later mentions how there May have been other motives behind why he didn’t get the ball in his hands on the last play of the day.
