We all know the visceral response that fantasy football invokes within all of us competitors, the virtual gladiators that step on the pretend sand of battle with one single purpose – destroy our opponent for the week. Every week. Since the emperor hasn’t shown his face and the horns haven’t blown to signal the beginning of another fantasy football season, below is a top 20 list (and list only) for each fantasy football standard league position. Each player/team defense was chosen with standard league rules in mind (no PPR, for example) and should be looked upon with the publishing date in mind. That last statement is an important factor to consider because as we veterans of the fantasy football arena know, things change with the quickfast.
