Each of the last four years I’ve done this top 50 NBA players countdown in the fifty days leading up to the upcoming NBA season. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: it’s an exhaustive and tremendously stressful multiple-month process of watching games, re-watching games, reading articles, formulating a whole bunch of well-thought-out opinions, stressing about those opinions and then writing several thousands of words and hoping that what I write will be both informative and entertaining.

With that said, it never fails to be the most fun I have writing each year. This year I was lucky enough to be able to do all of this for Baller Mind Frame, a website that is loaded with great sports and pop culture writers. I encourage you not only to check out any of these top fifty articles you may have missed, but stay awhile and check out everything else we’re bringing to the table.

As for the list … there are going to be some things you agree with and some things you disagree with. Don’t worry, my feelings won’t be hurt if you feel differently than I do. That’s the beauty of this countdown: this is simply my personal interpretation of the current state of the NBA. And the fact that you want to read about that is humbling. So thank you.
